Zand Martin

While doing paperwork after a cold and snowy hiking course in Colorado, I was happily interrupted by the delivery of small package with ten copies of my first book.  After a year and a half of edits, it is finally here: something I can touch, hold, and flip through.  It is an amazing feeling to have one’s name on a book.  NOLS Canoe was published October 1, 2013 and is available through most outdoor stores and book shops, as well as through Amazon.

Now that it is done, I find myself more and more excited about writing a narrative of my travels, having gotten my feet wet with textbook writing.  Stay tuned.
